Book Review: The Einstein Prophecy by Robert Masello

The Einstein ProphecyThe Einstein Prophecy by Robert Masello
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

During the winding down of WWII, a member of an elite art recovery team is called in to examine an ossuary hidden by the Nazis in a mine. To his horror, a young boy is blown up by a mine and the expert loses an eye. He returns to the US, where he is invited to join the faculty of Princeton.

An Egyptian archaeologist and her father travel to the US on a ship carrying the ossuary. Bad things happen to all those who come into contact with the relic, but the woman and her infirm father are invested in this box of bones: they found it--and then it was stolen from them by the Fuhrer's elite team of occultists.

The American veteran and the exotic intelligent woman must work together to combat the evil unleashed when the coffin is opened. Combined with walk ons from Einstein and a variety of secret organizations, this highly entertaining book will enthrall lovers of WWII lore as well as supernatural aficionados.
